Last week, Jackson was picked from his class to go to the region spelling bee in south GA.
It was about a three hour drive so we left after school on Wednesday to head down. Most of the kids were in eighth grade, but they were SO sweet to him (and the boy from 5th grade that went)....I can't wait to teach them next year in high school ~ I already love them! :)
He competed with 4th and 5th graders ~ spelling bees are based on intelligence and LUCK in my opinion ~
He got third place overall and we were so proud of him!
Anay from 5th grade got 1st and Jackson got 3rd.
3 of our students qualified for State!
Jackson did not go because we have been GOING nonstop!!!
We are super proud of him!!!
