HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON DAVID!

I cannot believe that my baby boy is THREE! The past three years have been the best of my life...without a doubt. He has brought us more joy and love than I could have ever imagined! I remember May 2005 when we found out he was on his way...and Mary Dalton could not even crawl yet! We wonder how we would pay for TWO babies, how we would have TIME for two babies, how we could ever LOVE another child as much as we loved Mary Dalton....now we just look back and laugh at how petty our concerns were! Isn't it amazing how God works all that silly stuff out for us!?! :)
I remember in August of 2005, finding out we were having a boy. You have NEVER seen a man more excited than Dalton Dowdy! I also remember finding out later that month that I had a genetic condition and they were fearful that Jackson had spine defect or cleft palate. I cannot tell you the countless nights that Dalton and I prayed for his health, nor can I explain the relief we felt we will finally got all the tests back that showed his health was perfect! But most of all, I cannot express to you the awe I had when I held Jackson 3 years ago today. He was (and is!) perfect! He stole my heart the minute I saw him and still holds it today! My mama always told me that little boys have a special in their mama's hearts...and yes....she was right! We are so fortunate to have him in our family and he has blessed us so much! He is such a little ham and keeps us all in stitches, yet he is so loving and ADORES his "Sissy!" SO ~
