Busy,Busy, Busy!!!

I still have not had a chance to even download our pics from Disney...but it is on the to do list....not that that will get it done!:) Mary Dalton has been with "Suz" ~ Dalton's mom ~ since Thursday. They are at the coast and I am going to meet them halfway tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say..our house is quiet...too quiet! Jackson is such a little man...he gets blocks...and he builds. He might comment every once and while, but he is really self sufficient. Mary Dalton called this a.m. before church and she wanted to know if she could "hear" Jackson. I put him on the phone and heard her say, "Are you bothering my things? You better not!" His response "Ok Sissy ~ I not." I was cracking up! :)

JDD has been getting out of bed again. As mentioned before, a huge no-no in our house. anyway, he came downstairs at 4:30...I get up for work around 5:30. I was NOT going upstairs to put him back in bed bc I knew I would not be able to go back to sleep. So I let him in.....
THE NEXT NIGHT: 2:30 ~ I hear a little voice say, "Can I join yall?" What do you say to that sweet voice????? OK ~ just tonight.

THE NEXT NIGHT: At bedtime, Mommy, I can sweep with yall? No Jackson. We did not invite you, you have a very nice bed upstairs and that is where you have always slept and you have to sleep in your bed. Maybe another time. He agreed. Went to bed with no fuss...fastforward to 3:15 a.m.~ I hear little feet and try to ignore him. I then hear a voice say, "Mommy ~ can you pwease babite (invite) me to sweep with yall?" HOW CUTE IS THAT??? :) We let him make a pallet in our bed but down by our feet between us. I was almost back asleep when he said, "Thanks for the batation (invitation!)! Can you see why I am so crazy about this kid????

Jackson got to go to the farm to burn with Dalton today. That is ALL he has talked about. He wants to be "Bigger" so he can hold fire and shoot birds! :)
