Injured!

The weather here is FINALLY warm ~ yesterday we were outside playing ~MDD insisted on wearing flip flops...She was running back towards the garage to get her bike and she WIPED OUT! She skinned her knees, elbows, foot, hands, and even a toe was cut! I felt so bad for her! I HATE a skinned knee!! Anyway, I got her up and took her in the kitchen to clean her up. She was SCREAMING ~ she doesn't like blood, plus she is VERY dramatic! Jackson opens the door and he has picked up her shoes and every single one her chips that she dropped when she fell. I told him that was sweet and he wanted to know if sissy had "bleed." I finally got her her quiet and put her on the couch to recover. Jackson sat by her feet and rubbed them, got her a capri sun, kissed her legs....all while she is still crying/whining about how hurt she was. He said,"You need me to get your something SissyBoo?" She said,"No, but thank you for taking such good care of me while I am injured." :-) It was a bad fall, but "injured" is a bit much!

We are going to the farm later this a.m. when it warms up a bit! Jackson got to go with Dalton last weekend to burn and that is ALL he has talked about! Of course, he is still in the bed, but his sister has been up since before 7! We even went to the basketball game at school last night and stayed out until 9:30 but she is up with the chickens...just like she has done since she came home from the hospital!
