Just checking in ~ ~ ~

We have been busy at the Dowdy's! My mom, sister, niece & nephew were all here this past weekend. It was yucky weather and Jackson was recovering from being sick, but we still had a great visit! Our new doctor is the BEST! If anyone in Jefferson county is reading this, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gheesling! She met us at her office on Saturday so JDD could get his 2nd shot. She could have EASLILY sent us to the hospital to get it, but offered to meet us there, or even come to our house! I am telling you, I LOVE this lady! :)

Anyway, MDD left on monday to go to TN. Big Daddy (dalton's dad) drove her to Atlanta where she met Sue-anna, dalton's sister. Suz (dalton's mom) was also there for market. They went out to eat and she even got swim in the heated pool. Sue-anna and MDD left for Nashville on Tuesday. Today, they went to story hour and the library and to the zoo ~ I have a feeling she is NOT going to want to come home! They are flying into Jacksonville on Friday and jackson, sallie ann, and I are going to meet them at the coast to celebrate Big Daddy's b-day and go to the StPatrick's parade.

Jackson is feeling much better. He is such an easy child. Yesterday was Dalton's election and he got in his pack and play (I almost did not take it bc he is 3, but I KNEW he would sleep!) and he slept from 1 until 5! He then went back to bed around 9 and slept until 7...he is a boy after my own heart!

The election had a good turn out, just not in our favor! There were 6 total running and 3 of them took the majority of the votes causing a run off between 2 candiates. Dalton came in 3rd, but it was close. Of course, he was a little disappointed, but it was such a learning experience for him. the other men running are our parents age, so I admire him for even WANTING to want to get involoved! Anyway, he would have done an awesome job....he is not only the most qualified, but the most educated, smartest. CUTEST, funniest, kindest, best husband, best daddy, etc.etc...but we know God has this thing in control and we can't wait to see what window He opens in our life next!

OK ~ I guess I better do something constructive now!!!
