UH ~ OHHHHH!!!!

the kids were playing while I was dusting and I noticed that Sarah (MDD's fish) was laying awfully low on the rocks. I thumped the bowl and Sarah started to float, then fell back down. MDd was sitting on the floor working on her "homework" and I said, "Ohhh, Mary Dalton, Sarah is looking really, REALLY bad. I think she may be dead."

OK ~ Let me go on and inform you that if DFACS comes and takes me off bc my neighbors called the police due to the screaming...let me stay in jail a day or two so I can catch up on some rest ~ THEN yall can get me out! ;-) no really, I cannot describe the decibals reached with her screams. So, like any decent mother, I quickly LIED through my teeth and said, "Oh never, mind....she is moving." MDD ran over to see....only to see Sarah lying there...DEAD....LOUDER screams/sobs/etc..."MAMA SHE IS NOT MOVING! I KILLED SARAH! I KILLED SARAH!" I quickly grabbed MDD hit the bowl as hard as I could without spilling the water and said, "LOOK! she is moving!" (moving...not really...floating up towards the surface lifelessly, ummm..yes.

All the screaming/sobbing/etc stopped and MDD said, "Oh thank you Lord! I knew I was a good pet girl."

SO ~ I have already got this thing figured out...MDD is supposed to go play with Sue-anna in a little while...I will flush sarah, and take "Dorfy" out of her bowl and put her into MDD's room. We'll tell JDD that Dorgy must be acting shy again...until we can get ANOTHER fish!

I'm pretty smart, huh? :)
