I am waiting on DDD to get home...he is working late. I got the bright idea to PAINT the craft room upstairs. I literally have paint EVERYWHERE! While I was painting, the kids took a nap, after they woke up..I IGNORED them. I was proud...I am not good at this, but I totally tuned them out as they fussed, laughed, called each other names, etc. I kept on painting until JD bit MD. I let her bite him back and he said. "I'm gonna tell my daddy on you 2 bad girls." SO ~ he got bit and a spanking...poor thing!
Anyway ~ MDD and I were cooking supper and I noticed he was AWFULLY quiet. I went in the living room and his underwears (as he calls them) were around his ankles, his feet in the air, and his hand was digging in his butt. Gross...I know. I screamed, "Get your hand our of your hiney!" He said, "I 'wooking for something Mama." I said, "WHAT?" He said, "I 'wost my penny in my butt crack." All I could think was somehow he managed to get the penny up his rectum and now I would have THAT to explain to the dr! When he realized I was horrified, he started crying. I had him bend over so I could look for the penny...don't you love motherhood ~ I mean really why didn't they teach me that in childbirth class ~ no penny. I was taking his underwear off and he says, "Oh here it is! I musta' pooted it out "wike a magician!"
MORAL OF THE STORY ~ Don't put money in your mouth...it might have been up Jackson's butt!

Amber, I just love reading your posts. They are so funny. It's just never boring over there is it? But that's what makes having a family so much fun. You are such a good mother - but I knew you would be because you were such a good babysitter!!
OH MY GOD! This has to be the funniest thing I have EVER read! I am Molly's good friend by the way... I love reading your blog from time to time... it makes my life seem a little tame on occasion and sadly not quite as entertaining. ~S.
