It never fails ~ if my children are going to get sick ~ it will be on the weekend. Mary Dalton woke up yesterday coughing and with a runny nose. I really think it is her allergies. She did sleep ok bc I gave her benadryl, but she looks pitiful! Her little eyes are all red and swollen, and her nose is pouring! I gave her Zyrtec and I know we are not going to Sunday School, but hopefully she will be feeling...and looking...better so we can make it to church! I am sorry, but I HATE it when parents bring their kids to church sick...or even looking sick. I will drop one of the kids off and hear a child hacking up what sounds to be every internal organ in his/her body and my blood boils! I just don't get why they wouldn't stay home?? I know going to work is different, but church?? come on people!
My 1st pediatrician told my church was the germiest/worst/most likely place for a child to get sick...could it be bc parents take their sick kids to have a 2-3 hour FREE break from them? I am just wondering that's all....
Anyway, I have some cute pics. Will try to put them on later...

I am at home this morning for the same thing! JC sounds AWFUL but I know it is just allergies. Hope you precious little one feels better soon!
I know. It makes me mad too and it always seems to be the same people that bring their kids sick. They will say, "Oh, it's just a cold." Yeah, a cold my child does NOT have and I don't want him/her to get it either.
I am glad to know that I am not alone in this one ladies! :)
My kids always end up sick on the weekends too! I think church is the worst place because at school/daycare they have strict rules about sickness.
