What a special day at our house! Mary Dalton decided this a.m. that it was Bitty's bday. I let her make cookies and told her she HAD to take a nap or tehre would be no party. She was out in literally 2 mintues. She decorated her room and set up the table and got the dishes herself. She was SOOOO happy! I walked in with my gift and she reminded me she needed me to take pictures for her. SO ~ enjoy our bday party with Bitty!
Below: Mary Dalton and her daughter "Bitty Eliza Dowdy" who is turning one.

WARNING ~ I am a VISION of lovliness in this photo below, but HAD to get one of three generations! :) My "Granny name" is ChaCha and MD said that Dalton was "Medium Daddy."

Below you will see a glimpse at our scrumtious menu ~ peanut butter cookies that MDD made, rolled out, squished with the fork NUMEROUS times and sprinkled sugar on and tea ~ that would be from McDonald's! :) Notice Bitty in her "high chair" the blue basket.

Mary Dalton was SO happy that Jackson was still asleep and not in her room messing up the party...oh the love! **Don't you LOVE her boots with the dress. It was about 95 here and MD is sporting a lovely pair of wool lined boots.

After we had cookies and tea, MDD gathered up all the utensils and stuck them in a cup. I do this to soak them after we eat until I have time to load the washer. Isn't that too cute?

What party would be complete without GIFTS?!?! Notice Bitty's father must have come into some money as she is turning one and getting a gift from Gucci. This gift was from MD and her husband, Prince Charming. It was a mis-matched (as she calls it) pair of dress up shoes. She said, "Bitty, these are so you will have some room to grow." ha!

I bought this shirt a LONG time ago to have on hand in case I needed a quick gift! I decided to let me grandchild enjoy it! MD was SOOOO happy it was a REAL gift! She held it up to Bitty to show everyone ~ She is such a sweet little Mama!

After the party, she washed all the tea set in the sink...that entertained her for another 30 minutes! :) Little girls are so much fun! We are taking her to the American Girl Bistro at the end of July ~ I cannot WAIT to see her reaction!
Have a great day!

I love "Medium Daddy"! I laughed out loud at that one! Too cute. Girls are so much fun!
Oh how sweet!! I love little girls too - but little boys aren't too bad either!! It's sweet how MD put the silverware in the cup just like you!! It makes you realize how much they "really" watch what you do - kind of scarry!!
