OK ~ it was fun while it lasted...I have picked vegetables, canned them, froze them, fried them, ate them...all things I RARELY do (except the eating part) ~ and today I ventured out and made a cake. I should have KNOWN that the dumb thing was not going to come out of the pan (PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME OR LEAVE ME COMMENTS ABOUT NOT GREASING OR FLOURING THE PAN...I DO. I THINK MY PAN IS CHEAP AS DIRT AND THIS IS PART OF MY PROBLEM. IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE A COMMENT AND REMIND ME THAT I AM A TRUE DOMESTIC DIVA...FEEL FREE:-) ). Anyway, my friend Tammy ~ who posted the recipe ~ is like...ummmm....Martha Stewart, but not a convict meets Paula Dean, but not that old, crossed with Laurie Smith from Trading Spaces ~ always does crap like this with EASE. She can whip out some curtains while I make Spaghettios for supper. She posted her recipe on her blog, along with her picture...I could not resist sharing a few of my own photos of my creation ~ ~ ~
The Above pic would show you all how much cake was left in the pan...very easy to get to and good to eat!
Here is my cake to have on my counter this week ~ ha! ha! It looks like rats have been eating on it! She posed a ffefw peaches by hers and I was out, so Iguess that makes mine plain! ;-)
All this to say ~ I am hanging up my domestic hat for awhile ~ I will stick to my 5 casseroles and cleaning...I can do those things with my eyes closed! :)

Well the inside looks like mine!!!! Matt, Ev and I are laughing so hard we are crying. I know what to get you for your birthday- A NEW PAN! Most importantly how does it taste?
