As much as I have been picking veggies, freezing, and about to attempt canning and pickle making ~ I thought that I would share with you my menu for tonight ~
Roast
Brown Rice
Squash Dressing (new recipe, not sure if it is good!)
Sweet Corn
Tomatoes
Peas
Fried Okra
Fried Eggplant
Homemade Apple Pie ~ Apples I grew! :)
How impressed are you?!?! Mary Dalton keeps commenting that our house smells like the Dutch House ~ Poor thing ~ I think that this is the SECOND time in her life that I have fried anything! ha! Tomorrow, I am making pickles...I am really feeling like a Granny....cooking like one...eating like one...acting like one....hope I don't start looking like one! ;-)
