I can hardly believe that July is well on its way! Where is my summer going?!? I will be home all this week and next, then a trip to the beach with Dalton's mom, sister, and MD ~ a quick weekend trip to ATL, then back to work! Oh my gosh! The start of school is always bitter sweet to me...I LOVE what I do...I LOVE going to work, it is just the start of school is always so crazy trying to "get back into the groove" ~ Since both kids will be at TJA with me, I am hoping it will be easier since I won't have to run a bus all over Jefferson County to get everyone to preschool/sitter/etc.
Yesterday the housekeeper came and my house is perfect...rare occurance...but it makes me so so so so so happy! I decided that since the house was clean and laundry was done, I should iron, too. I noticed it was getting hot, but I thought it was the iron..wrong! The AC went out! I was about to D-I-E! I called the repair man and decided it would not hurt me to sweat, maybe I would lose a few pounds (ha!). By the time I was done, I was literally dripping wet with sweat. I jumped in the pool with the kids to cool off. I noticed JD get out and walk over to a trailer DDD had parked in the backyard. He loves to play on a trailer, so I really thought nothing of it. Then, he pulls down his pants, I still thougth nothing, he always lets it flow anywhere/anytime. Then, he SITS DOWN, before I could get out to get him up, he pooped in the backyard right off the trailer...how gross is that?!!? I do not know any woman that would be able to do that! He is such a man ~ MD was gagging and worrying that the birds/squirrels were going to get in it!
Bedtime has been a breeze at our house...MD wants a little friend (she is 6 1/2 and I work with her mom) to spend the night. I told her if she could go to bed at 8:00 without fussing/complaining for 3 nights that she could invite Alison to stay over. Well, tonight is her big night! They are both SOOO excited! Poor Jackson! I am sure that they will exclude him and he will be so sad...we told him he could camp out in our room! :)
We were going to Augusta today to buy groceries and return something to Gymboree, but it looks like it is going to rain and I am thinking we may sit right here all day. I would hate to miss M. Jackson's funeral....ha! I will be SO SO SO glad when they get that freaky man in the ground and off of TV. People are nuts, they act like he really influenced them. He was a great singer/dancer (early on) but had major issues, no hero in my book. There was a pic. of him on the news last night and he looked JUST LIKE Peter Pan...and he lived at Neverland...did I miss something? Have yall noticed that he looked like Peter Pan too or I am just crazy??
Enough rambling...MD should be up soon...it is 8:00 and she NEVER sleeps this late...I think I will grab one more cup of coffee..
Enjoy your day!
