It is so hard to believe that BOTH my babies will start REAL school tomorrow! We are packed and ready and HOPEFULLY everything will run smoothly! We are going to all have breakfast together and IF ~ a BIG IF ~ everyone cooperates, I have promised them a picnic and a trip to the park since we get out of school at noon. We shall see!
After I got home today, we were swimming and I was going over something with Jackson that he needs to know. I asked him my name, Dalton's name, where we live, etc. I asked him our phone number and I said, "54????" ~ trying to see if he learned it from hearing MD say it over and over. He smiled SO big and said, "3, 2,1!" ha! Like a countdown! :)
Mary Dalton's new word is "apparently." I asked her if she was going with me (she was not ready and I was about to walk out the door). Her reply was, "Apparently so Mother, seeings how you are the only grown up here and you are leaving."
