When they got here, they played with the kitchen and rose petal cottage. Then, we had them make pizzas out of English muffins, fruit kabobs, and to finish up, they decorated their own cake to take home as part of their party favor. I had each girl a monogrammed apron, they were too cute all dressed up! J While Sallie (who is the best sitter in the world!) fixed their plates, we opened presents and did the cake. While they at their pizzas, we served cake.
This was probably one of my favorite parties MD has had…although the circus party with the tiger is hard to beat! It was a breeze to pull off and the girls (and Jackson!) LOVED decorating their cakes…some of them actually did a good job! However, Jackson’s party at Jumping Beans was nice because my house did not have to be cleaned before or after the party! I saw in a magazine where he could have a swimming party in January at a heated pool in Augusta…we might try that!
Mary Dalton had lots of fun, so it was well worth it! She is already telling me what she wants for next year! I told her we will not talk about it until after Jackson’s birthday.
As you can guess, the party consumed my whole day, but I wouldn't have it any other way! :)
Mary Dalton is getting ready to blow out her 5 candles! :) Abby and Olivia are singing away ~
Mary Dalton with Marti Ann (on left) and Margaret Lynn (on right) ~ these are 2 of the girls in her class...you know their poor teacher gets confused with all the "M" double names....plus there is a Maggie! :)

What a great party - looks and sounds like everyone had a blast. The cake is beautiful, but not as pretty as the birthday girl!
thanks wendy! :)
Hi...found your blog through Nicki's. I'm from that area too. I'm always looking for good January birthday ideas...this party was great!
