Prayers Needed ~

Mary Dalton has had a small spot on her finget since at least Monday that is bothering her. Her teacher brought her to me today and it was swollen, hot and had visible infection. I took her straight to the Dr. who lanced the infection and cleaned it out good ~ let me say that this was lots of fun ~ Screaming...more screaming....etc.... She is not sure if MD has strep or staph. She is treating her as if she had MSRA. This is a HORRIBLE SMELLY liquid medicine that she has to have 3 teaspoons of 3 times a day. We tried the first dose tonight ~ she threw up 5 or 6 different times and virtually got no medicine down. I talked to her Dr tonight and we are going to see if she can swallow the pill tomorrow. If not, she will have to go into the hospital for 48 hours of IV meds. PLEASE pray that either we will hear back from the lab results tomorrow (it will probably be Monday), MD will be able to take the pill, and that she will have no side effects fromt he infection. She is asleep now, but we are to watch for fever, redness,etc and have to go to the ER if any of these things start. We are very concerned, but have a wonderful Dr. and a God who loves MD even more than us, so that makes all of this ok!
