Funnies ~

Yesterday I had had ENOUGH of my two...they were whining, demanding, fighting, etc I was trying to do 500 things at once. They ran into the breakfast room and started with their "MAMA MAMA MAMA!" I was on the phone, and put the phone down and said, "Do NOT say MAMA again! Go PLAY." Jackson (with that devilish twinkle in his eye) said, "How about Amber?"

MDD had a homework sheet from school to review the color words. I noticed she was being VERY sweet about doing the sheet. I put her at the table and went to the kitchen to begin supper. She was too quiet, so I stuck my head around the corner to see what she was doing. She had Jackson doing the coloring while she sat there and watched. I tried to explain that that was cheating and was wrong. She said, "I am reading the words to him, and I think that was the point of the homework, you know, to read my words. He loves to color and is so neat, so I think it will be fine." Hmmmm....pretty smart girl! ;-)

One of the channels has "Your Baby Can Read" on all the time! It was on the other day and JDD said, "Why would you want a baby to read? I thought that they were just supposed to crawl around and drink bottles?"

I got a note from MD's teacher that she shared the story of Jesus feeding 5000 today during devotion. She also went on to tell me that instead of fish, MD said Jesus used shrimp!

They are both getting SO big and are so much fun! They bring Dalton and me more joy than we could have ever imagined! Each day I thank God for giving me my two precious babies (and Dalton too!:) )
