Here We Go Again ~

Here we go again...another week! I have decided that I just don't "do" Mondays well. I stay up late watching my one guilty pleasure "Desperate Housewives" and then I am too geared up to sleep...but I pay for it on Monday!

Homecoming week was a lot of fun! Jackson won best costume on Celebrity Day in his Rocky costume...he was PREICOUS! MDD was VERY upset she did not win...one of those life lessons....
My mom came on Thursday and stayed until this a.m. We always HATE to see her go home! This a.m. about 5:30 Mary Dalton got in bed with us and as quietly as she could, just sobbed and sobbed. It breaks my heart! She just doesn't "get" why we have to live so far away. I am so thankful that my mother is such an important part of their lives and that she is able to travel and is good health! So many of my friends have parents who are no longer living or are unable to do things like they used to.

Mama and the kids made treats for their classes. On Friday, Mama went to Jackson's class for Grandparents Day and then took treats to MDD's class. They both got to check out early and spend the day at the park. SAturday, we braved the cold and rain and went to Augusta. Sunday, we enjoyed the day! We watched a movie and let the kids play with their paint set and playdough, low key but lots of fun! :)

We have another busy week planned! Both kids have a field trip, dance, the school fall festival, school pictures, etc. I keep thinking things will slow down, but I have decided that this is just how it is going to be....BUSY! I will do my best to post some pics soon ~ they are a riot! :)
