This was one very nonproductive weekend...and VERY nice! Dalton was hunting/farming all weekend so that left me with both kids ~ we survived...they entertained themselves pretty well ~ but I am amazed daily at how DIFFERENT boys and girls are! Jackson plays ALL day. No matter where we are, or what we are doing, he can find SOMETHING to entertain him....an acorn, stick, ball, TV, bike, etc. Mary Dalton is quite the opposite ~ she has to have CONSTANT entertainment...that is where I am VERY thankful for Jackson (poor thing!) ~ he gets stuck dealing with her! ha! :)
I should have questioned yesterday WHY they were so quiet...this a.m. I could not find one bowl. I thought it was odd, but just put their cereal in a cup. While getting dressed for church, I found my bowls! They were (all 10 to be exact) lined up in the playroom with water in them. They said that they were being dogs and were drinking water from bowls. Next time, I will check on them!
We enjoyed the warm weather by playing outside...thankfully they are BOTH feeling better! We are VERY excited about our long weekend...no school tomorrow! :) No big plans, so that makes it even better! :)
