Catching up ~

It has been a busy time at out house! We had a great Thanksgiving with my family being here. The kids got lots of time to play at the farm on the bounce house! We cooked oysters, roasted marshmallows, and just enjoyed being together!

It was VERY hard to go back to work after a week off! The kids were so tired and still trying to catch up! Mary Dalton got sick on Thursday with a sore throat and we stayed home on Friday. I took her to the dr on Friday and she has strep. She felt so bad and is still not 100% yet. She actually ASKED if she could get a shot so she could feel better quicker! Breaks my heart when they are sick!

We went to a breakfast with Santa this a.m. and JDD was SOOO cute! He kept waving at Santa the entire time we were in line! He rattled off a list a mile long when he finally got his turn! Our Sunday school party is tonight, church tomorrow, then....another week! It's hard to believe that it is Christmas already AND that it is going by SOOOOO fast! January will be here before we know it!

Cute things that MD and JD have said this week ~

MD "I want to be 2 things when I grow up. An astronaunt and en elf!" how RANDOM is that?

MD could not find "Elfie" the other a.m. and she was standing at my bed whining about not being able to find him and said, "Do you think he just quit? Or maybe retired?"

JD has a song each week to go with the letter they are learning. This week was "G" and I was singing the song (it was on a sheet he colored) and he says, "No Mommy. You have to sing it like a goat....say "garabage ccccccaaaaaannnnn." This may not seem funny, but it was THE cutest thing him singing like a goat! ;)

Bree, a little girl in JD's class, wears perfume for Jackson each day. She LOVES him and he loves her too! Every morning, she comes running up to him and he sniffs her. It is too funny! Lisa brought JD home for me on Friday since MD did not go to school. I asked him about his day and if Bree was wearing her perfume. He answered yes and I then asked if he smelled her. He said, "I sniff her like a dog!" And he does...he sniffs her just like dogs sniff!
