Happy Birthday Jackson!

Dear Precious Jackson,
I can hardly believe that 4 years have passed since you were born! I can remember praying when I was pregnant with you that you would be an "easy" baby and boy did God answer my prayers! You have been SUCH a joy since day 1! I never knew a smelly, dirty, little boy could wrap me sooooo tightly around his dirty little finger ~ and by the way ~ there is no place that I would rather be! ;) This past year, you have grown so much! You almost learned to swim, you have learned all your letters, sounds, numbers. You are beginning to spell words and write them. Every night you get yourself out of the bathtub, clean the bathroom, dress yourself and brush your own teeth! You are really growing up fast! You LOVE school, frogs, bugs, anything gross (bloody deer, birds, etc), playing outside, and your Leapster. You are SUCH a smart boy! You are very puzzle minded and love to figure things out! At least a few nights a week, you creep quietly as you can down the stairs and sneak in the bed with us....most nights...we don't even wake up! We used to put you back, but are realizing how quickly are growing up ~ so we just let you snuggle in and we get LOTS of sugar! I am so fortunate that God chose ME to be your mother. You bring our family so much joy and happiness. I can't wait to see what God has in store for your life. It is my prayer that you will ask Jesus to come into your heart at a young age and live a life that is pleasing to Him. I pray that no matter what you do with your life ~ whether you pump gas or become a doctor ~ that you are happy and use your life to serve God. Happy Birthday precious Baby Boy!!!
I love you more than you will even know ~
Mommy

*~*~*~ Excuse my poor photos! This was taken the a.m. before I left for the hospital. I was so small with him compared to being pregnant with MDD!
Minutes after you were born ~ SUCH an easy delivery! I didn't even sweat off my make up! :)
Mary Dalton meeting you for the first time! It is crazy to me to look back on pics like this! I don't know how I survived having 2 so small ~ but I did ~ and would not trade it for anything in the world! JD was a few hours old and MDD was 17 months and 1 day. Precious babies!

This was taken right after we got home from the hospital ~ you were SUCH a snuggly baby! And SOOOOO good!!!

I have soooo enjoyed every minute of being your Mommy and cannot wait to see what this year has in store for you!!! :)
