Fun, fun, fun!!!

We are having a blast at Opryland! I had hoped to keep my blog current with pics, but in true Amber fashion, left the adapter for the memory card...so stay tuned! Sue-anna and Amos kept the kiddos last night and Dalton and I enjoyed a night to ourselves...two so far in 2010....I could get used to this! ;) Anyway, since I can't do my pics and I have time, I thought that I would catch up on the cute things the kiddos said this week! Hope they bring a smile to your face like they did mine!

MDD ~ We were discussing that when I have grandchildren I am going to let them "break all the rules" "Mama, I am so sorry but I am not going to be able to have a baby. EVER." I said, "Oh, MD ~ you will change your mind. You and JD are the best things that ever happened to me!" "No mam. I just can't." I asked her why and here is what I got ~ "Well, I know how they come out. Saw it on TV. I don't think that a baby would come out of my coo coo...it is not big enough, and there is no way that I am gonna let anybody cut on my stomach then staple me up like paper!" I said, " I am sure you will change your mind. God works it all out and it is really not that bad. And in the end, you have a precious baby! You could always adopt a baby, there are lots of babies that need good homes." She said, "That is probably what I am going to do. But I can't get one from China like Aunt Tasha was gonna do." I asked again, "Why?" She said, "I hardly speak any Chinese and I would not understand it. Kai Lan just teaches you a few words, not enough to take care of a baby!"

JDD ~ While rubbing his little freshly shaved head on my legs,"Mommy, you are so pretty. I am glad that you are my old lady!" ;)

JDD ~ "Mommy, I wish you would not have married Daddy." I looked at him like he crazy and said, "Why would you say that?" He said, "Because then you could have married me!" Talk about melting your heart!!!

We were discussing MD's tooth that is loose. She asked me what would happen after her tooth came out. I told her that new ones would come in. She asked what would be the next thing that usually happens after you start loosing teeth. I told her that she would get taller. THEN WHAT MAMA??? Then, you boobies will start to grow. THEN WHAT MAMA? Then, you will have to wear a bra and shave your legs." THEN WHAT? Then MAYBE we will let you get your ears pierced. THEN WHAT??? Then, you start to turn into a young woman. ~ Then she replied, "Yeah, I know what comes next! You get your dumb ole' period. and I can tell yall right now, don't even buy one of those tampons! I am gonna have to wear Maxi Pads!" ~ ~ Hey ~ at least she knows what's coming and what she wants! :)

We are headed back home in the a.m. We have had a wonderful time! It is sooo nice to be able to get away from the day to day hustle and enjoy relaxing and downtime! I will do my best to post some pics on Sunday, but it may be later in the week! Please pray for us as we travel back to GA tomorrow! :)
