Good Food and Good Fun ~ ~ ~

I should have listed food and fun as two of my simple pleasures! ;) Last night, we went out to eat with Dalton's parents to celebrate his birthday. We went to McKinney's Pond ~ a good friend of Dalton's dad owns it ~ so we always get first class treatment! ;) It is a small place literally in the middle of NO WHERE! The fried dill pickles and fried shrimp are to die for!!! The cool thing about McKinney's is that you can get a room to eat in ~ this works out GREAT for the kids! They were able to play their Leapster's and walk around since we were there for so long!

We are going to an oyster roast tonight...it is soooo cold here! I got a sitter for the kids ~ MDD is still not 100% ~ and I sure don't want get to get worse! I am praying everyone stays well! We have a 4 day school week and then we are off on Friday and Monday ~ YEAH!!!! :)
