Mary Dalton lost her FIRST tooth ~ 2/22

Mary Dalton lost her first tooth this past Tuesday ` 2/22/10. She was soooo excited!Several of her friends have lost teeth, so she was really looking forward to this! I was scared she would be totally freaked out when she saw blood and also at the thougth of a fairy flying in her room while she was sleeping. Much to my surprise, I WAS THE ONE FREAKING OUT! I don't "do" teeth ~ after trying for 2 hours to get my courgae up to pull her tooth, I took her to Dalton and he pulled it in the parking lot at his office! She was SOOOO HAPPY! I got this pillow from Dalton's grandmother while I was pregnant ~ has a place to put your tooth and money...so sweet!



Waking up to find her money! She got $5 from the fairy and Big Daddy gave her five dollars. She bought some "hair accessories" from Target....too bad she can't wear them in public! ha! ;) ~ ~ ~ SIDE NOTE ~ Do you people see what a MESS of hair I battle EVERY morning??? It is amazing that I EVER get to work on time! I have tried everything and nothing helps! I call her Medusa! ;) She will kill me in a few years for putting this on my blog! ;)



I ALMOST FORGOT ~ We pulled the tooth in the car. I put the tooth in a medicine cup for what I thought would be safe keeping. When we got home at 9 on a school night (yall know that alone was stressing me out!) I could not find the tooth! Dalton was soooo mad at me for loosing her tooth! I looked, he looked....no tooth. She kept saying, "Give me my tooth!" And we kept putting her off. Then I had a "Mommy Moment" ~ They needed to be in bed an hour ago and I needed a tooth. I went to the pantry, got a piece of rice and wrapped it in a tissue so she could see it really fast and then I stuck it in the pillow. Worked like a charm! How smart was that!?!? ;) And by the way....Dalton found the tooth! :)
