Mary Dalton started to feel better around lunch. I decided to pick Jackson up from school early and head to the farm. The weather was sooo pretty and they played outside from 2 until 6! They have farmer's tans and are too precious! ;) I was able to work on a new Bible study I bought, Dancing with my Father. Just started it but it seems really good! We do not go to night church because our kids go to bed so early! I tried Team Kids last year with MDD and I even taught. Mondays were AWFUL and oue whole week was off because of one night! We would not get home until 7:15-7:30 and then she still needed to eat and have a bath and then wind down...she would be 9 or 9:30 going to bed. Little miss cannot function like that! All that to say, that because of that, I do miss out on some activities, so I try to find other studies to take part in or do on my own. Many people "disapprove" of my choice not to take them to the nigth services, but yall know me well enough to know that unless God convicts me otherwise this is how it will be...or until they can stay up past 7:30! ha! jackson went to bed at 6:50 tonight!!!
We had a GREAT time at the farm! They played on the bounce house and attempted to make mud pies, but they were TOTALLY freaked out bc they were dirty...opps...my bad! I think I made them like that! ;) I tried to explain that it was supposed to be fun, but neither wanted ANY part of it!
Jackson got his courage up to "jump" the haybales today so this was lots of fun...and a great work out too! I am worn out! As we were playing, MD said, "Mama I love that smell." It was cow manure. The funny thing is, I do too but never realized it until she said that. It reminds me of going to FL to see my grandparents when I was a child and playing outside near the cows. I guess the smells reminds her of the farm and the fun we have playing on the haybales??
Dalton came out after work and we grilled steaks which were too good! I got everyone bathed and ready for bed and then we came home. JD fell asleep on the way ~ he was worn out! MD is very excited about going back to school tomorrow...I think the "novelty" of staying with me is wearing low! ha!
I got our resurrection eggs out and organized so we can start doing those tomorrow. Boy Easter snuck up on me this year! I am usually way prepared but not this year! I LOVE Easter, it is 100% my favorite holliday. I think that it has even more meaning to me now that I am a mother ~ To think that someone would love ME so much that He would send His son to die for all the wrong...and there is a lot of it...that I have done. I know how much love I have for my own children and it is hard to fathom that God loves me (and them!!!) even more than I love them!!! Amazing. That's all I know to say!!!
love~
