I never knew how much I would LOVE being the mommy to a little boy! I sometimes think that I am not a very good "boy mommy." I just don't like the outdoors (unless I am sitting poolside or at the beach), I HATE sports...all of them, don't like the boy aisle at Target, and sure don't like dirty, nasty stuff like he does (bugs, poots, spiders, etc). However, when he rubs his little shaved head on my arm...my heart MELTS. He is my heart! Jackson loves me when nobody else does....he always thinks that I look pretty. He always has a hug for me. He always asks if I need him to do anything for me. He is precious. I love that he can entertain himself for hours with a couple of rocks and sticks. I love how he calls himself a "sleeping machine" ~ and he is NOT joking...he can sleep anywhere, anytime! I just LOVE this little boy!!!
I also LOVE how he makes me laugh and wanted to share his funnies for the week ~ Enjoy!
~ ~ We were at Dalton's rental house and he has several Mexicans working on it. MDD asked me there names and I was telling her. JD said, "Which one of them is Sitting Bull Mama?" ;)
~ ~ On the way home from school, he said, "Mama...that sign said STOP....and you did not even slow down!" GREAT ~ already backseat driving!
~ ~ "Mama is our oven broken?" "No, why?" "Just wondering why we always have to eat cereal...that's all." THAT was below the belt...don't you think???
~ ~ Big Daddy, are you SURE you don't have a baby in your tummy? It's awfully big!?!"
~ ~ And my personal favorite ~ On the way home from school, "WOW! That cow was giving that other cow a piggyback ride! Trun around!" ha!!!
