K4 ~ Here he comes!!!

I never thought today was be so sad for me! I can't believe how much Jackson has grown up this year! I am not really sad about him leaving K3, but leaving his teacher, Miss Roxanne. She is the type of teacher that you want your child to have...every year...but may only have once or twice throughout their whole school experience. This lady but EVERY ounce of energy she had into making sure that these 6 sweet children had fun and learned what they needed to know! She is a breast cancer survivor and this is her first year back teaching...and I pray she will continue to teach, because God has blessed her with a gift that she NEEDS to share. She is amazing....most of all, she not only loves her job, but she loves my baby (and others too!). Jackson adores her and NEVER dreaded going to school, but instead cried on the weekends because he could not see Miss Roxanne! I could go on and on about how wonderful she is!

Their program this morning was precious. I tried not to cry and did really good until they presented the parents with a gift (see below). Afterwards, Dalton's mother and I were talking and both agreed that you could feel God's prescence in their classroom. I am sooooo thankful that we have Christian teachers at our school that love the Lord and use their gifts to serve him. And take it from me, Roxanne's spiritual gift is hands down teaching!!! ;-)

Mallie -bug and Jax ~ Can you tell they love each other? ;) She was precious during the program, when it was over ~ she pulled her dress wayyyyy up over her head! I thought her mother was going to die! ;)

Ange, the teacher's aide, put together these books all year and presented one to each of the parents. IT IS PRICELESS. It's one of those things that better be saved in a house fire or natural diaster! She literally has page after page of everything that I was not there for during the school year. Pictures of every pep ralley, birthday party, field trip, just fun days in class, playground time, cooking, centers, visitors, parents day, grandparents day, book fair, etc!!! I soooooo appreciate all her hard work she put into these books for us! It is something that I will treasure for years and years to come! **Mary D. got one in K3 too from her all time fav. teacher, Susan Patrick. She STILL looks at that book and enjoys it so much! Such a great idea for elementary teachers to do! I may do this for my high school kids next year! ha! just kidding!!

Mary Dalton's program is tomorrow....I have several videos to post and I will try to get them up as I have time!
