Tammy is a great cook and has put a few recipes on her blog ~ Home of a Magnolia ~ The mini crab cakes were to DIE for!
Sunday, we took Mary Dalton to Athens to see a trapeze show. Sue-anna was supposed to meet us, but got stuck in Nashville because of the rain and flooding. Her friend, April, was in the show and we were able to meet her before! The show was about fairy tales and it was awesome! Miss Priss is all dressed up like a fairy! Complete with her doll, Sue-anna Eliza Dowdy Kate. ;)
April did the performace in The Beauty and the Beast ~ Mary Dalton was VERY impressed!
After the performace, we went to Fatz Cafe for supper. It was delicious! I would highly recommend eating at Fatz ~ very good and family friendly! The tomato soup was so yummy!!!
Monday I took Jackson to get his real cast. It was a yucky rainy day and as soon as we got in the car, he was O-U-T! I carried him in the office and found a bench to sit on so he could keep snoozing....this child is a sleeping machine! ;) He slept through the wait, I moved him to the room to get the cast and he barely woke up to pick his color! I wish his sister would learn to sleep a little more! ;)

Sweet sleeping Jackson!
The swelling had gone down a good bit, but it was still so bruised! He was very brave but did cry just a tiny tiny bit when they had to squeeze the cast to mold to his arm.
All fixed up with his blue cast....which is WATER PROOF! How awesome is that?!?! For an extra $50 you acn now get waterproof casts! They don't really advertise it, because they said a lot of insurances won't cover it...but it was WELL worth it with summer coming!
He goes back on the 25th and will get it x rayed again and then move to a brace or a cast that does not go so far up! We are praying for a brace! After we got the cast, he got to pick any toy at Target that he wanted for being so brave with the whole ordeal. He picked out a race track and car seat and already has played with it $20 worth! ;)
I guess that about catches me up on the latest things! Enjoy your day! :)
