The cool thing was that you could go out on the back porch and there were HUGE turtles and ducks everywhere that you could feed. This was right up Jackson's alley! He ate as quickly as he could so he could get back out to see the animals! There were also cows everywhere and they got in the pond, too, to cool off...which JD REALLY liked!
Sweet boy on the porch where you feed the ducks and turtles.
THIS is the kind of foolishness I had to put with ALL WEEKEND! ;) These two boys kept me on my toes! I'm not sure I like being out numbered! ;) There was constant tickling, screaming, chashing, sack of potatoes, hunting stores, BBQ, etc. Not one "girlie" thing...all weekend. (But I would not trade it for the world!) They had so much fun and are so much alike!
Several people recommended The Smokin' Pig for lunch. We ate there on Saturday after spending the morning in Thomasville (which was very historic and had great shops...we went to go to a hunting store...2 actually!). It was very reasonably priced and really good! We hated Mary Dalton was not with us because they had ribs and fried okra...her two very favorite foods!
And ~ on any good road trip....nature calls! We were literally in the middle of nowhere and Jackson decides he can't wait another minute! I travel with a pop-up potty, but forgot to get it out of my car! So, smarty-pants Dalton came up with this lovely idea! And it worked! ha!
I am sure he will KILL me for posting that in a few years, but I could not resist! He's taking "Tale" gating a bit to heart! ;)
I am starting to miss Mary Dalton terribly! It is way too quiet and she is such a big help! I am ready to have her home! Jackson and I are headed to the coast and will pick her up on Wednesday from the airport. Dalton will meet us at the coast on Friday and we will spend the weekend there....then next week...I'M GOING HOME!!! YEAH!!! This is the longest I have ever been without going to MS and I am way overdue! I am keeping my fingers crossed that Dalton will be able to go with us!
Stay tuned for pics from Sue-anna of MD's adventures in Nash-vegas! :)

Don't worry about MD... She ate ribs for lunch today!!!
Let me guess, the two hunting stores were Stafford's and Kevin's. I spent much of my childhood waiting around for my dad to finish shopping in Thomasville (about the only time he enjoyed shopping...)
Kyndall ~ You hit the nail on the head!!! They both were actually really nice as far as hunting stores are concerned! ;)
Nah...I'm sure your son will be okay with this pic when he's about..umm 13 LOL! These types of pics are priceless if you ask me! Us moms need these when our sons start acting up..at least I am going to assume so :)
Thank you for sharing!
