Movie Day!

Today, Kit Kitteridge, was playing at the Family Film Festival ~ MDD was sooo excited! She woke up, made her bed, dressed Kit, dressed herself (notice she wore "puffy" sleeves, which THRILLED me!), brushed her teeth, and skipped down stairs! I could eat her up! ;) Kit was so good during the movie! ha!
Jackson on the other hand had some issues ~ the chair flipped closed on him and he spilled his popcorn, then ~ he dropped his drink, THEN ~ somehow he managed to stand up and literally fall over...which lead to a major meltdown in the middle of the movie....good times, I tell you, good times! ;)

After the movie, we went to Party City and MDD got to pick out some plates for her school bday party. I wanted to go ahead and get this done in hopes that I would not have to go to Augusta again between now and then ~ WELL ~ so much for that! While we were over there, she kept complaining about her shoes hurting her feet. When we came home, we had a great "trying on" and NONE, I mean NONE of them fit! She has silver, pink and red boots and flipflops. So, i guess we will be going back over soon! Jackson outgrew his too! They really have not had anything on but flipflops (or MD in her boots) all summer, so I guess they both had growth spurts! I made a Kodak album instead of listing them on ebay! Somebody who needs a 12 is in MAJOR luck! ;)

I took JD back to the dr to have his eyes rechecked and today he was 20/50 ~ so I guess we will be going to the eye dr ~ and soon!

We don't have a thing planned for tomorrow and I am thrilled about that! I always get a stomach ache and so depressed when it is time to go back to school...which is SO silly, bc I LOVE my job. Even if I were a millionaire, I would still work. But ~ the thought of lunches, backpacks, grading stacks and stacks of papers, homework, projects, bedtimes, getting up at the CRACK of dawn, the mad morning rush ~ yep....it just about does me in! Needless to say, as the days pass by....or FLY by rather, I can hardly stand it! I have enjoyed MD & JD SOOOOOO much this summer and don't want the fun to end! But it is about to....so I guess I better make the most of it while I can! :)
