First Day of School ~

I am soooo happy to report that the 1st day of K5 and K4 was a SUCCESS! THANK YOU LORD!!! I have been on pins and needles praying and hoping that MD would transition into K5 better than she did in K4. I knew "Mr. Never Meet a Stranger" Jackson would be A.O.K! :)

She actually saw one of her friends while we were dropping JD off and went on in her classroom and started unpacking before we got to her....HUGE deal for her! She has talked nonstop about how much she loves her new teacher, so hopefully her excitement will continue!

We started last year taking their picture by the gate on the 1st day of school ~
Jackson was BEYOND happy to see Bree! He made her a love letter ~ a heart with rainbows and her name. So sweet! This is when he was giving her the card ~ she was so sweet when he gave it to her....they are a mess!

Mary D. and Miss Sharon ~ MD was so impressed that Miss Sharon had "sparkle" glasses and turns the music up loud.

Jackson and "Gail Mole" as he called her last night....I quickly reminded him that that would NOT be a good idea to call her that at school! He has 14 in his class and they seem to be a really sweet group!

And the famous Alli Cobb! MD was chomping at the bits to see what Alli would be wearing today! ha! She LOVES Alli and Alli is so sweet to her!

We just had a half today, so tomorrow is the full-meal deal! We swam this afternoon so I am hoping everybody will be good and tired when 8 p.m. rolls around! The start of school always wears me out, so it may be a few days before I have time to post again! Enjoy your week!
