Close Call ~

Last night, I was cooking supper and heard a MAJOR crash followed by MAJOR screaming! I ran in the den and Jackson had fallen through the glass coffee table. He was covered in blood and was crying. I wrapped him up in a throw blanket bc he had glass all over him and took him to the bathroom and took his clothes off. I bathed him and realized he had one pretty deep cut on his arm and then 3 or 4 smaller cuts on his hands. He also had a bump where I guess his head hit the wooden side.

Needless to say, it could have been a LOT worse. I am so thankful that he was not hurt! Dalton got the fun job of cleaning this up and it took forever!

Mary Dalton was watching TV when it happened and they both said that JD was trying to get his silly bands and lost his balance ~ so that is what we are guessing happened!
Our AC upstairs is OUT, gone, no more! :( I thought that the kids would be able to sleep up there last night, but it was 83 and too hot ~ soooo....they slept on baby mattresses in our room. That would be night three. I am praying that it will be cool enough for them to move back to their rooms tonight!I hear every little sound they make so I am waking up a lot! But aren't they so sweet when they are sleeping????

LOVE this outfit on MD! The pants are getting short, so this will be her last season to wear it, but it's one of those I don't want to forget!
Jackson was SO excited he got to wear boots and jeans today! You can see his battle scars on his arm! Poor guy!

So scary. I always worry about our glass kitchen table and get on to them often about putting too much weight on it. Glad J is okay. Ev had a scooter accident this afternoon in the driveway. I heard screaming, crying and lots of scrapes and blood, but nothing peroxide won't cure. Love MD's outfit. Just gave some of Ev's clothes away and it made me so sad to see them go- means he is growing up.
