Our BUSY Day ~

My Saturday started out perfect ~ I woke up to this sweet smile!

Sleepyhead on the other hand was not so happy when he woke up! Dalton was gone so they slept with me ~ or at least they slept! ;) I am not used to sleeping with them, so it was a long night! Somehow, Jackson ended up at the foot of the bed??
If you have never ordered from Tastefully Simple, FIND A REP! Holy smokes these muffins were sooooo good! You add water to the mix and butter to the topping! So easy! I added one cup of chopped apples and that made them so moist! I have eaten most of the their foods (imagine that!) and have a friend who is a rep ~ let me know if you want me to put you in touch with her! They ship and EVERYTHING is so good and SO easy!

THIS is stressing me out! See that pile of junk, papers, Christmas cards, mail, projects, etc. is a beautiful table that I am DETERMINED to get uncovered before Monday ~ wish me luck!

After we straightened up, we headed to the PO to mail a few bills. What a TREAT! Aunt Tasha sent the kids each a HUGE box of costumes she found on clearance for a dollar! They were SOOOO excited!

Jackson got an army man, Woody , astronaunt, police man, soldier (I think that's it!)

Mary D. got Alice, Souther Belle, bee, flapper, cowgirl, indian!

Thanks Aunt Tasha ~ you have provided them with HOURS of fun! :)

Jackson was super excited that this came with a canteen and walkie talkie! ;)

Mary Dalton wanted to wear the Southern Belle costume to the tea party this afternoon and wanted curled hair and make up. I gave in and then wanted to cry! Look how old she looks! :(

Where did my baby go? This was like a "peak" into teen years for me and I think I like her 6! :)

Today I am thankful for technology. I am so thankful that even my family is not near me, I can pick up the phone and hear their voices and share our news of the day with them! I am thankful for the internet that allows me blog so I can share my children's lives with those who are so far away!
