Where did the week go???

This week FLEW by! I can hardly believe that it is already the weekend! Christmas will really be here before we know it! We had an uneventful, but super busy week!

Jackson wanted to take "Justin BEAVER" to school with him! ;) He said Olivia had a Justin "Beaver" shirt and he wanted to show her his beaver! ha!

Mary Dalton took Lexi Mae with her to school! She even packed her a lunch and an extra change of clothes! She is sa good little mama!

We got the tree up and decorated. THANK HEAVENS! Dalton loves a real tree, and I want an artifiical tree ~ he wins every year. It is pretty, but SUCH a mess! We got everything out and I remembered that I threw the lights out with the tree last year ~ uh oh! Dalton had to make a trip to the dollar store! Anyway ~ everything is up and decorated! :)

We do not have a "pretty" tree ~ We have a fun tree. We have lots of ornaments that come from all over and so many have such special memories. These Wizard of Oz ornaments were mine from when I was little ~ the paper clip hangers are the same ones from the early 80's I originally put on there! Jackson LOVES this movie so these are some of his fav. ornaments!

And in the midst of decorating, here I am .....doing laundry! Imagine that! We had boxes and junk everywhere and laundry too ~ it was a MESS!

Dalton found this angel and said it needed to go in the Halloween box ~ It was headless! ha! That man CRACKS me up! He had just gotten out of the woods hunting, see the hat?? ;)

And the finished product ~ minus the bow ~ It is not the most beautiful tree, but it's a happy tree and has lots of fun memories!

We have a SUPER busy weekend! Dalton & I are going to a christmas party tonight, the kids have a 4 hour choir practice tomorrow, we have a bday party, open house at The Orchards, and then supper with Santa! Sunday is the kids' christmas musical ~ should be lots of fun!
