Yesterday was PAINT day!!! My sweet friend, michelle, came over and we sanded and painted ALL day! 1st up ~ this old coffee table that Dalton found in an old house he is about to redo...
After some sanding, paint, and varnish ~ Woohoo!! ILOVE it!!! you can't really tell, but it matches PERFECTLY in our den! it's distressed so it will be wonderful with the kids!!!
Next up ~ the kids' bathroom cabinets!!! I HATE this wood!!! I wanted to paint it and wanted it to be fun!!!
It's now my FAVORITE room in the house! I am in LOVE with the blue cabients!!! Michelle was a great teacher and I can't wait for my next project that I can do SOLO! :)
We also put a 2nd coat of RED paint on the door and distressed a chest for the cabin! We cleaned up quickly, because more fun girls were coming over for a painting party!
We had such a good time!!!
This is Beth's "masterpiece" ~ we got SO tickled over this!!! It looks like Joseph was excited to see Mary! ha! ;)
Then, once mary was added....it looked like he was touching her chest area! You can imagine how we laughed, and laughed...and laughed!
This is clairissa's painting...she still had somethings to add to it...but I LOVE her colors!!! It's the "new" nativity! LOVE the blue!!
