"Take Pictures in Your Mind of Your Childhood Room,,,"

Mary Dalton has asked me numerous times what my room looked like when I was little. I try my best to remember...and do remember some parts....but I would love to have a picture of it! I have pictures of their nurseries, but decided to take detailed pics of their rooms for them to have one day when they are my age and can't remember! :) I did Mary Dalton's 1st because Jackson has money all over his floor from rolling pennies!

This is the view from her bed. She can see her TV from her bed perfectly! When we moved, I could not find any fabric or bedding that I liked better than what was in her nursery...so we moved the window treatment that Dalton's mom made and she redid it to fit! I also moved the chandlier ~ it was in her nursery, too!

LOVE this frame and picture! She ADORES her Daddy!!!
My Daddy made this doll house/bookcase similar to the one in pottery barn. It has been WONDERFUL for storage and showing off some of her favorite things!!!

This is her view from her door ~ I LOVE her window seat!!! I always wanted a window seat and love that she has one! The painting above the window says, "I see the moon and the moon sees me, God bless the moon and God bless me." That is from her nursery, too! Most of her toys are in the toy room, but she has a few of her favorite dolls in her room! Her initals are above her bed...also from her nursery and the canopy is from Justice ~ she bought it with her bday money and she LOVES it!!!

She has GREAT storage ~ the window seat has a ton of storage and she has TWO nice closets!!! Above her closet it says, "Mary Dalton ~ the KING is entralled with your beauty...worship Him for He is your Lord."

closet closest to door ~ kinda messy...we can't keep them clean!!! She made Kit a bedroom in the bottom ~

Other closet ~ we keep her shoes and dresses on this side!

She LOVES to tape stuff to the walls ~ SOOOO we had to come up with some ground rules ~ she can tape inside her closets and on the back of her door ~ and boy does she ever!!!! This is a perfect compromise for us! :)

I love her room! it is so "her" ~ It is such a happy room and just plain ole' pretty if you ask me! :) I feel like when she is a little older, we will move her room into the guest room so she can have her own bathroom and Jackson will have his own, too! Until then, I am TOTALLY sticking with the pink leopard print, yellow toile, and pink gingham!!!
