Just Call Us "carnies" ~

We LOVE teh county fair! I swear we could be carnies! Jackson was SO worried he wasn't going to get to go last week because he was sick, but thankfully he recovered and made the annual trip to the fair!!! We got there when the gates opened and stayed until about 9 ~ 

We had some delicious food ~ the BEST funnel cake I have EVER eaten and cotton candy of course!!! 

 

Pretty much 90% of the people there that night were from our school ~ so we let the kids "go" on their own...just checked on them from time to time ~ they LOVED being with their friends without us! There was a "haunted ride" and I had to practically shove Jackson on it, but he loved it!

We played several games of Bingo with the men from the Lion's Club and the kids played fair games too ~ Mary Dalton won SIX GOLDFISH!!!! She was so sweet to share them with her friends ~ MD and Jax each got a fish and (Jax won 2) and we have already had one burial at sea....

It was super fun and always "sets the tone" that fall is really here!

Jackson said, "I didn't know Mr. William worked at the fair! He must make a lot of money because their house is nice! I thought fair people pretty much looked homeless!" ;)
