Mary Dalton has looked forward to our school pageant since LAST year...so imagine her sadness when nobody signed up to compete in the middle school age division. They offered her to still "compete" and she would be crowned the winner. She did NOT want any part of that and asked to compete with the high school girls! That's my girl!!! :)
And let me say ~ she looked STUNNING. I was so proud of her confidence and courage to compete with two 18 year olds and a 17 year old.
Big D has had a hard time with this one growing up! He misses that little girl with the big bow!
Ohhh these two ~ they are either best friends and enemies ~ and can drive me to the brink of insanity in SECONDS ~ but I would not trade it for anything.

Livi won the pageant and the minute she was crowned, Mary Dalton hugged her like crazy! She was so happy for her ~ and that made me BEAM with pride. I want her to be someone who can celebrate with others...even when she isn't the "best" or the "winner." This girl makes me proud.
Sallie Ann and Gigi came to cheer on my girl, too. So thankful for them!!!
Sweet Whitney was there, too! Mary Dalton has some precious friends that love her!
She had a great time and can't wait for next year!
She has already said she will compete with the high school again if she has to.
