Spelling Bee 2018

Both of the kids were chosen to represent their classes in the GISA spelling bee last week. We had to travel about 2 hours to get to the competition school, but they were so excited to have the day out of school that they never complained!
We got there and I got a quick picture of some of my high school girls and MD & Jax ~ and seriously...she looks their age or older...Oh I miss smocked dresses! :(
They are hard to spot but they are in this group of our school's participants waiting to compete with their grades!
They both got out on their first word and we decided we would let someone else have a turn at the spelling bee fun next year! ;) Hey ~ at least they looked cute!
Another promise we made Mary Dalton was she could get her cartilage pierced in she made all A's all year ~ we stopped by Clarie's to make it happen. She was BEYOND excited but I could hardly watch!!!
Tah-dah!!! All done and she was in love! Let's pray it does not get infected!!!
We are wrapping up the school year ~ only 3 more weeks!!!
