December is flying by and my "to do" list keeps getting longer! We don't get out of school until the Friday before Christmas, so I am trying to squeeze in all of our normal Christmas activites in between school, basketball, and life in general ~ throw in a couple of sick days and we have LOTS to do to get in full holiday mode!!
We celebrated Thanksgiving late with Dalton's family. Sue-anna and her family came and we could not BELIEVE how grown sweet Razzi is!!!
They TOTALLY surprised me with FORTY birthday gifts and a cake!!! Susan-Laine was so sweet and helped me open them!
Oh how I adore this child!!!
Mary Dalton asked Brinson to come join us ~ they have such a good time together!
I have LOVED LOVED LOVED having Sallie Ann in town!!! We stop by all the time to see her sweet babies!!!
Speaking of babies ~ Mary Dalton & Jackson's teacher went out on maternity leave last week, so they threw her a shower! They just love Miss Mary Beth!
Mary Dalton and Graci Rae have gotten to be super close this year! Her sister kept them for me when they were younger...and GR even heled with them some, too. GR is a senior and MD is in 8th grade...but these two ADORE each other. GR would KILL someone over MD. I am so thankful for their sweet friendship!
Jackson has been on a trapping break due to the yucky weather!!! He had to take a full week off and he can't WAIT to get started again on Tuesday! He has grown taller than MD ~ and I am the shortest in our house by a good two inches now. He is at the age where pictures aren't his thing...so that explains why there aren't' many! ;) He is doing great in school and just a good, well rounded kid.
If he ever grows into his hands and feet he is going to be 7 feet tall!
Dalton has been in Texas this past week on a hunting trip. He has had a great time and killed a huge buck and some other "creature" but I can't remember what it is called! ;) He is duck hunting now and enjoying a much needed break from his super busy schedule!
We have a few things planned in the next few weeks, but honestly, I can't wait for "cabin Christmas" ~ It has become ALL of our favorite Christmas tradition!!!
