Christmas Festivities Part 1

Our Christmas festivities got kicked off on December 20th after exams!!!
my two kids were done with school but I took sweet Blake home and we were both so glad to be out of school!

I picked Jackson up and we went to take Chance and Collins kate their Christmas gifts. They are getting so big and I don’t feel like we get to see them near enough!

Mary Dalton was at home patiently waiting for Brinson to come pick her up.  He got his drivers license on this day and was coming to get her to take her to his family Christmas. The girl was beside herself !!!!

They had a fun night!!! She loves his family and they’re super sweet to her!

Saturday morning we woke up early and headed to Glennville for the Dowdy family Christmas.  My two kids are the oldest, and then I think the next oldest is maybe 11. This picture shows their excitement about the day....

but they were really sweet and enjoyed seeing everyone!

We normally stay for oysters, but we headed home because we had to do our cabin Christmas that night. The cabin is just so cozy at Christmas and we love it there!

First up on Saturday night, we let the kids open their stockings...

Dalton made steaks and lobster bisque and it was absolutely delicious! We watched all the good Christmas movies too!

Jackson Dowdy loves Christmas like nobody else! He loves the music, he loves the lights, he loves it all!

Their big gift from Dalton this year was concert tickets for each of them and two friends. I made up a little rhyme and Dalton read it to them! They were super excited and they get to pick between three different concerts to attend

Sunday morning we woke up and did gifts at the cabin and then headed home to meet Nana and Paw Paw. The weather was absolutely terrible! The roads were a muddy mess and we were all stuck inside. Nana show Jackson how to make homemade cinnamon rolls. She also brought him lots of new cooking things… She is the sweetest!

we went to the cabin Sunday night for a traditional Christmas supper… With ham and turkey and all the trimmings. It was delicious and we loved visiting with my parents!

After we ate, it was our annual cookie decorating time. This is one part of Christmas Jackson doesn’t love… But he participates to make me happy ! ;)

brinson came and ate with us and got in on the cookie making!

We spent Monday in Augusta doing all sorts of fun girly things while the boys stayed back home. Dalton cooked for us Monday night and we exchange gifts with my parents. They left early Christmas Eve morning to head back to Mississippi.

We crammed a lot into three days! Christmas part two coming soon ......
