Easter this year definitely looked a little different, but we try to keep some of our same traditions! Whitney has that eggs with us for the past few years so she came over to get in on that action. I don’t care how old my kids are, we will always that Easter eggs and get Easter baskets!
Generally Mary Dalton’s eggs are ugly. She’s just not artistic… This year however, her eggs were absolutely beautiful! Ha ha! She was so proud!
Since there was no need to get up early for church, we met at 10 in the den to open up Easter baskets and have breakfast.
Jackson got a new Apple Pencil because his broke… He loves that thing and uses it all the time! He also got a swimming suit and some new boxers. Mary Dalton got a record, a shirt, some earrings , some tanning stuff, and some skin care stuff… She got more stuff because that pencil wasn’t cheap to say the least!
After we did baskets everyone got dressed… Bless their hearts they know that Easter is my favorite holiday and that I needed a picture! The weather was absolutely awful and we couldn’t go outside but we may do… Seems like we’re making do a lot lately!!!

Jackson put up his screen in the den and we use his projector to watch church… He was cracking us up acting like he was going to take up an offering!
Instead of traditional Easter dinner, the kids wantedJapanese. Dalton went all out!!!!
The meal was absolutely delicious and complete with a flaming onion volcano that almost got out of control! It was a super fun day filled with lots of love and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. It definitely was not a traditional day, but it was nice to be home with the people I love the most!!!
