Week 8.. HELLO SUMMER

Oh Week 8 ~ you may be my favorite so far because the kids FINISHED their school work!!! They are officially on summer break!!!

Cinco De Mayo was at home but we enjoyed some yummy Mexican food!!!

I spent lots of night attempting to roost a turkey with Dalton....I can't wait until we are retired and we can do this all the time. If I was working, there is no way I would go with him because I would have 500 things to do...LOVE this quality time with him!

Mother's Day came with the BEST gifts!!!! This stack of bracelets came early and I could not resist opening them!!! I LOVE them!!!

We have had LOTS of family time...and as much as we miss our everyday things....we are all loving it.

Mary Dalton & I both got our hair done! We felt like new people!!! She took her extensions out and went for a bob ~ I LOVE it!!!

MS has been a rough year for Jackson. He didn't love school and really was not challenged. He is excited about high school and I can't wait for him to finally have some challenging course work!!!


MD had a few of her classmates over last Thursday for a swim! They have missed each other!!!

Saturday brought cold weather so we got the house in order and headed to the farm....

Jackson had a few of his friends over and we celebrated Taylor's birthday!

Perfect night for a fire!

Sunday morning we slept in and Dalton made me breakfast. Anytime you start the day with a stack of bracelets and a mimosa...it's guaranteed to be a great day! :)



I enjoyed a lazy day Sunday and was able to lay out and read some. It was a great weekend!
