Well, school is officially over for the kids and I finished yesterday! Praise the LORD!!! I was so upset when the year got cut short, but all three of us have learned that staying home was much needed and we SO enjoyed it!!! August is going to be ROUGH on all of us!!!
Last week, Mary Dalton had her first week of swimming lessons. She basically had lessons from 11-7 every day. She was WORN OUT but she did such a good job!!! She had great success with teaching the kids to swim! I LOVED going out when the little ones were there because they were so cute and funny!
It was kinda early to do swimming lessons, but she needed two full weeks to do them. She couldn't do this week because we had to go to school two days to wrap up the school year and for some cheer stuff. Needless to say it was FREEZING the first two days!!! She would come in and shower, change suits and eat soup!
Sweet Sunny is still the best pet ever...I love this old cat.
Dalton and I had a REAL date night last week!!!! We have been going out and taking our own table, linens, china, etc. but this was a REAL outing and we loved it!
Also last week ~ another turkey season has ended...Big D has had a great season. I will not miss the EARLY alarm clocks though! ;)
You know summer is around the corner when there is fresh squeezed lemonade in town at the traffic light! LOVE our small town life!
We are looking forward to a weekend at the coast this weekend! Summer is officially here and I pray it goes by SLOW!!!
