Holy cow! After almost 5 months off we are officially back at school! We started back last Thursday and my two children were so excited to be back with their friends and to get back into a routine! It’s definitely been an adjustment and I’m a tad late on our first
day of school pictures! But I’ve only got three more years to document this so here we go...

We officially have two high school students! Mary Dalton is starting her sophomore year and Jackson is starting his freshman year.
The backpacks are new but it’s a tradition… Sorry kids!
Dalton traditionally cooks a big breakfast but this year the kids weren’t into that. I don’t think we did it last year either. Funny how things change when they grow up.

Today was our first full day and I think we are going along rather well! We do have one case of Covid in our school already, but I’m praying that it doesn’t spread and we can continue in person instruction. It’s definitely going to be a year of challenges, but we are so excited to be back and we are looking forward to being somewhat normal! Here’s to a great year
