Life Lately

September has been WIDE OPEN
I am missing the slow days of quarantine for sure

We have managed a few "date nights" at the cabin\ and of course we are eating good
Jackson has had a few shotgun team meets.
Coach Dowdy...ha ha
Dalton is learning all about working with kids...I think he a new appreciation for me! In all seriousness, he has enjoyed it but it is a definite change from practicing law.
sweet sunny is still hanging around....best pet ever!
More shotgun team stuff...see....BUSY!

On top of all the craziness I had a procedure done. It was outpatient, but I had some issues with my blood pressure than landed me in bed for 5 days. I think everything is well on the way to being managed, but I did have to miss my girl's first game of the year! thankful for sweet friends who sent pics

I got a tad bit of cabin fever being at home and we moved to the cabin for me to rest. Dalton cooked and waited on me...he is a  good good man

These two are having a blast at school and love hanging out. They are like an old married couple. They'd rather drink coffee and watch a movie than go out

Last week I took the girls to the game and we left early to do some shopping! Dalton met us for supper and we had the best time. I am so thankful for this time with them...I know it will fly by so I am trying to soak it all up

Sunday at The Creek...there was a hint of fall and MD could not resist the sweater!

The boys had shotgun team practice after church, it was a gorgeous day

Mary Dalton was nominated again this year to be a representative for homecoming. Marti Ann was also chosen to be on the court this year.

Jackson has settled into high school after a few weeks of major adjusting. His grades are great and he has gotten into the rhythm of things. He tried out for One Act play and got the lead role. I am excited to see him in it. MD is also in the play...should be interesting

We had our first pep rally yesterday and my girls KILLED it!!! I was so proud of them! They have worked so hard and are just so dang precious!

And....that brings us to two weeks left in the month...and this week is PACKED. I mean PACKED. We are enjoying a weekend at home because this week will have us going in 500 directions.
Also, I can't get punctuation to work today...I have no clue what is going on but Blogger won't let me add punctuation, so please forgive my sentence fragments! :)
