My life right now consist of work, basketball, and trying to stay warm… I’m not even kidding I think I’ve been cold since November. I just realized how far behind I am on blogging and I wanted to get caught up as best as I can!
February is almost halfway over... and all the praise hands… That means spring is almost here!
I have enjoyed teaching Jackson’s class this year and getting to know his friends better. They definitely keep me on my toes, but they are a super fun group.
MD is going to be beyond lost next year when two of her very ,very good friends graduate. She has gotten to be such good friends with Betsy and Allison. I have a feeling she will be making lots of trips to visit them while they are at school.
Thankfully she has several friends groups and they are all sweet precious girls. She had a gift exchange on Valentines with the girls in her class.
Talk about a class for the boys… I took this on Valentine’s Day right before I dismissed them.
I had to swing by Dalton’s office and he took dressdown Friday to a whole new level when he combine two different camo patterns… Those boots though…
I feel like this has been the never ending season of basketball. We had our last regular season game on Friday night and we start region tonight. We will be playing until the first week of March. Mary Dalton swears she’s not playing next year… And I’m going to hold her to it. It’s been fine, but it’s too much for our family. we like downtime and to be at home! 😉
My forever valentine bought me some skittles…
I asked my Facebook friends to recommend the best king cake and they recommended too. The first one we got was OK, but this one was the best king cake we have ever had. We will definitely be ordering from them every year!
Dalton and I did manage a small weekend getaway to Augusta this month. We had so much fun and enjoyed the time with just the two of us. When you live with teenagers, teach teenagers and have teenagers at your house all the time… You need some adult time occasionally.
It has been absolutely freezing cold here and we have had so much rain! We bought a mule and attempted to take it for a ride. Jackson and I literally had tears rolling down our faces from laughing… We were that cold. I can’t wait for warmer weather so we can enjoy it!
We were out of school Monday and Mary Dalton and I went and bought her prom dress. I cannot believe that both of my kids are going to prom this year! I started this blog when they were two and three and now they are going to prom!
And that’s a peek at our life lately…
