Coasting on into May

I can’t believe that we are almost in May! We have survived an entire school year with in person learning and none of us have had to quarantine… I am so glad that we made it and that we are about to get a much needed break!
April and May are always super busy for us. Last week, I took the sophomores to mastermind, an escape room, in Augusta. We had the best time!

And we made it out! It was a lot harder than I thought it would be but very fun!

We went to lunch at Mellow Mushroom before heading back to school

Sooz had a birthday and we took cake and ice cream over to celebrate!

I was chosen as a star teacher by one of my students and we had a luncheon last week. I was honored to be chosen, it was a special day.

Mary Dalton and Whitney are partners for the end-of-the-year project in my class. They have to design a product and market it.  They are making a glove to hold your phone so you don’t drop it on your face…

Dalton and I had to go to Athens last week we had a delicious supper and a great night together.

This gem found live crawfish and cooked them for me!!! Oh they were SO good!

HEAVEN.

Saturday night, I went to dinner with Dalton, Troy and Rhett...they had my dying!!! Such good friends and the stories they tell are hilarious!

We have 20 days left of school. Lots of stuff going on between now and then but we are definitely counting it down
