October’s Here!

We are just a few days in the October and we have been quite busy! This is my very favorite time of year so I am soaking it all in! I will be one happy lady from now until the beginning of January. It’s all the things I love!

First off, I am the Sponsor for FCA this year. Whitney is the president and Mary Dalton is the vice president. Whitney said years ago they used to do prayer breakfast once a week and she wanted to start that back. The girls got busy planning it and had their first “holy huddle breakfast club this past week. As you can see if they had a great turn out. I’m super proud of them and look forward to watching them be leaders this year.

Friday was grandparents day and Mary Dalton was the MC again. She and whitney have done this for quite some time. She also sang with a group of girls and Cameron had a duet….which was memorable.

My job has been super stressful the past few years and this year is not much better. However, this is the part of my job I love. Doing things with the kids. They are so much fun and I’m so thankful I get to be a part of their lives.
I’m also thankful that I get to see my own children throughout the day.

On Saturday Jackson had a shotgun teammate. This is his last regular meat for the year because on the next one he is taking the SAT. He will go to state to compete sometime in November.

He came home and showered and got ready to go to homecoming at Brentwood.

Our student body voted not to have a homecoming dance this year so I was excited he got invited to another schools. I know that the kids think these are lame, but such fun memories are made!

Jackson and his pretty date, Isabell.

I have no idea who these kids are… Just one of the mom sent me some pictures and I thought my boy looked handsome. ❤️

Mary Dalton and I did some shopping on Saturday to get ready for homecoming week at our school and then Shelby spent the night Saturday night. They went to church Sunday morning while I stayed home sick with the crud that they so graciously shared with me.

we are off of school today for a little fall break and there’s nothing better to me than a Monday off of work! The weather is supposed to go off this week, the fire is coming to town, and I am at the end of a non-weight so it should be a good week teaching… Happy October!
