Ole Miss

Last week we took Mary Dalton on an official tour of ole  miss. We left Thursday at lunch and headed to Oxford

We checked into our VRBO and immediately went and picked up crawfish. There is absolutely nothing like crawfish from Mississippi or Louisiana! These were so spicy and absolutely delicious!

When we got done we walked around the Square… Our house was about two blocks from there. We talk to Betsy on FaceTime while we waited on Dalton’s late night snack.

Friday we spent the day exploring… 

We had lunch St Leo’s and looked in the cutest stores! Dalton found a hunting store to check out, do it was a win for everyone! 

That night, we ate at McEwen’s…beautiful restaurant and delicious food again!! 

Ughhh my heart…how is it time for this?!?! 

Saturday morning we had our tour. She absolutely fell in love with everything about it and said there’s no need to look any further she’s sure that’s where she wants to go to school. 


She plans to apply in July and hopefully will get excepted quickly and can start making her plans. We are still going to go to tour UGA next month but she says this is where she belongs.

I have prayed for the last year that both my children will know without a shadow of a doubt where they are supposed to attend college. I’m praying for their roommates, the decisions that they will have to make, their safety, and for them to find their perfect friend groups. I don’t know is this is where she’ll end up, and it is seven hours from our house… but I do know that God has this under control and he loves her more than I do… Which is a whole bunch!!! ;) 

I know that there are so many things for her to experience and I’m so excited to be able to watch her continue to grow into the woman that God wants her to be. and in the meantime… I am just praying that everything works out and she is happy wherever she ends up.
