West Palm Beach

After our Key West adventure we drive about four hours to Palm Beach. I honestly think this was my favorite part of the whole trip. Everything was absolutely beautiful, so clean, no no homeless people, it was almost like a step back in time.

We checked in our hotel and the kids went exploring and then we walked over to Rosemary Square and looked around. We had some lunch while Dalton did a few work things and then we drove over to another shopping area…

It wasn’t overly hot and it was just a beautiful day!

He is going to miss her so much when she goes to college! We all are going to miss her but I think he will honestly miss her more than anybody. They are best friends and I’m so thankful.

Mary Dalton was in heaven and loved getting to shop in stores that we don’t have near our house.

This was the cutest thing to me! It was a little refrigerator and it had crayons and color sheets, Popsicles, ice packs, etc. for little children. I thought it was such a fun idea! And it was free… And no one took it vantage of it! That’s what I really loved!

We went back to the hotel and cleaned up for our last dinner. We had dinner at Palm Beach Grill and it was delicious! Mary Dalton and Jackson both had steak and they said it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had… And my kids are ultra picky about a steak!

My baby…

We had such a good dinner and then we headed back to the hotel. The kids walked around for a while I read and Dalton checked emails.

The drive home was capital LONG!!!! It was only about 7 1/2 hours but it might as well been 24. We did stop at Buccee’s and got some snacks for the road

We finally got home around 4:30. Of course immediately unpacked and started laundry, Dalton grilled chicken and just like that we were back in the real world! I will forever be grateful for those seven days with my people. I know that the times we had together before they go to college are quickly coming to an end and I don’t take for granted any time that I can get to spend with all four of us together.
